I used to think of myself as being an "open book". Recently, however, having to maintain a blog has challenged that. As it turns out, I find that I'm rather adverse to blogs. Which is why it's taken me 3 months to publish my first post. And for that I am sorry. It must seem like I don't care or that I'm not prioritizing my growing fan base. *sarcasm*

And therein lies one of my greatest hesitations to entering the world of blogging. It can be so... self-congratulatory and narcissistic at times. Oops for honesty. You'll find a lot of that here. So, honestly, I'd rather sit across the table from you and engage in a mutual conversation. I'd let you talk or ask questions and then share here and there about my current musings and latest adventures. But here's to trying new things *raised glass of water in the air*. The good news is, I'm fairly concise. Hence, my affinity for haiku's. Other good news is, pictures are worth a thousand words.  

So without further adieu, I welcome you to my pre-Word Race reflections. 

Today I will attempt to conquer the printing out of all my fundraising letters + response cards + prayer card pictures + pre addressed labels. It's been a long time coming.
